New Street Properties, LLC began its journey more than 20 years ago as Poplar @ New, a company owned by landscape architect, Tony Widner of Widner & Associates, Inc. During this time we have restored and redeveloped several Downtown Macon properties. We find great pride in our city and strive to contribute to its economic growth and development.

Our investments include several locations around Downtown Macon, including the Cotton Avenue Lofts. Built in 2012, the lofts were a pioneer in the Downtown Macon loft boom that has been taking place over the last 10+ years. We take pride in these charming downtown apartments. The property is located on quiet and convenient Cotton Avenue and also houses a salon. New Street Properties, LLC also is focused on the revitalization of the commercial spaces just next door to the lofts on Cotton Avenue. Our next planned project is to further develop the vacant second floor to four luxury loft rentals.

Other properties include a mixed-use building on Poplar Street containing five commercial tenants and one residential unit, including our home office. Our only property not located in the heart of Downtown Macon is the 1391 Briarcliff Condo.
